I was a Vodafone customer, but its call rates were little higher and airtel was offering me good call rates (10p/m A to A, 30 p/m other local mobiles) as portability advantage, so I came to Airtel from Vodafone by MNP service. This was the only advantage of airtel, but if I talk about network I can't talk anyone one in calls inside the house, I need to go to gallery to make calls.
After few days I got promotional mail from airtel "Mumbai call kare 25 paise me! Rs 33 ke recharge pe mumbai aur bhart me kahi bhi call kare 25P/min ke rate se, 1000 min tak! 30 din ke liye! To aaj hi Recharge kare" I had little more STD usage so I activated the scheme. So my local mobile call rates changed to 60p/m. I don't think their promotional message mentioned anything which says that local mobile call rates will be changed to 60p/m or conditions apply.
When I wrote to airtel customer care ( 121@in.airtel.com), I was told that you will get your call rates back after the period of STD scheme. So I waited foe a month. After a month I found that my call rates changed to 1.2p/s (third call rate in 3rd month).
The worst experience is that when I wrote 15 times to airtel, They even do not care to reply once. every time I got auto generated mail saying "Thank you for writing to us. we shall get back to you within 1 working day" But they never responded regarding my complaint.
If a company doesn't value the customtakeouters or their complaints I think one should keep distance from such company. As per TRAI , I can't move to other company up to 90 days. So I will have to be in Airtel few more days. I have suffered and I i don't won't anyone to suffer from the worst company, that is why I am writing this review, I won't recommend anyone to choose Airtel.
