As per the update received from our Blackberry service center engineer we would like to inform you that your blackberrydevice is found as liquid damaged by Bangalore service center, they have sent it back without repair. Kindly collect it from malad service centre. Should you require any further assistance, please feel free to contact us. You may contact us at 7070 or email us atbb.support@airtel.in and we shall make every effort to revert with resolution as soon as possible.


The above is the reply I get after 15 days of my handset (still under guarantee and less than a year old) being with them. I replied with a mail stating that the said device has never come in contact with any sort of liquid. Secondly, why wasn’t I informed about it when the handset was in Bangalore. At the service centre in Mumbai I was informed that it is a software and hardware problem, so now why is it contradicting? 20 days have passed and am yet to receive any reply. I called the number 7070 only to be told that they cannot do anything and asked me to get back to the service centre. Am hoping that someone at Blackberry will read this and revert. No one from your centre is communicating.


The above was posted on MouthShut_Official but it seems to have not attracted the right eye balls. I have collected my cell back and believe me it is worse than before.


The problem seems to be with Airtel customtakeouter service. They are not bothered. No one is going to call you back, specially if it is Malad centre. They refuse to give any number in case you want to take it up with some senior. There is one by the name of Mr. Chaudhary who does not deserve to be seated at the position he is in. Need to know whom to complain?
