Well I am basically an IDEA user but tried airtel for a short span of time for their GPRS service.
Well I wont go in details about the call charges cos most of them are more or less same.

First the network is below average. All that ads about there superior network is a total crap. I get no network as soon as I enter my building and guess what I got my prepaid for GPRS service.
They cut ur talktime anytime they like and say some crap things like 'u had dialled some no.s which is a value added service'.
I tried there WAP service and it got activated in 2 days and rest of the month got wasted in downloding settings for my handset. I use PHILIPS 355 which is compatible with their service but never ever was I able to download a single damn ringtone or wallpaper but the amount was deducted immediately.
Also after downloading mms settings for 420 times I couldnt send a single mms let alone recieving.
the customer service is equally pathetic with the agents not able to explain the simple terms like GPRS and mms. above all they are extremely rude.
Not recommended!!!
