Have been using GSM almost 5 years now and in addition to my original line(RPG) which is my personal, I use a second phone for work(usually a corp. conctn).


Recently, had to subscribe to AIRTEL and right from the start it was torturous.


1.they insist a ECS/mandate for bill pay else a deposit even for a corporate customer.


2.after paying a deposit for the 1st time in my life for a phone connctn, I find they have assigned a credit limit of rs.1350 !!


3.I reach the cr.limit and they bar outgoing!


4.Forced to make an interim payment despite the hassle it involves when I go for a reimbursement.


5.they assure that line wont get barred henceforth BUT barred again!! All this before my 1st billing cycle is complete itself!!


6.I pay my entire dues even before I receive the bill.


7.heres the worst part, 24 hrs later they bar my phone again!!! Blame it on SYSTEM!


8.I write a long letter to their corp.support, they just ignore it till date!!


Summing it, Airtel is oblivous to fact there are other service providers and feels customers can be held to ransom anytime by barring the phone line.
