I have been a 4 year old customer of bharati airtel postpaid services. Airtel I must admit was good till 3 years back. my problems began in 2009 when I started getting low and fluctuating network in my house. there were often call drops. I decided to call the customer care and lodge a complaint. They said it will sorted in 2 weeks and I got a call in two weeks confirming resolution.
However to my surprise, they failed to resolve the issue. since then my problems just got worse and worse. I couldn't even talk while walking in my house. I called up customer care and requested them to surrender my mobile as the problems were impossible to bear my surprise, customer care idiots asked me to give them one more chance and offered me some discounts.
I agreed on the condition that they will resolve the issue withing 2 weeks. as usual I got a call after 2 weeks that the issue has been resolved. not to my surprise this time, issue was as it was. I called them again and told them to disconnect my services, to which they transferred the call to retention department. the lady in that department told me that the customer care of airtel is useless!!!! and that she will take care of the issue this time.
However I was sick of calling up airtel and changed my service provider to vodafone, which seems to be ok for now. my advise to all the people here would to be to avoid airtel.
