Hi freinds today telecom sector is booming and all service providers want to attract public by any way and also to make profits, but my review is about the way they adopt to make money which I experienced in last week by wellknown service provider airtel, as I have been using service of different celprovider since last 7 years including idea,airtel,bsnl,hutch and tata too.
I have a life time prepaid connection of airtel at home from which usually no outging is done because of high rates and its generallly for incoming purpose. so we usually recharge it with only 50 rs. at 3-4 months, on 14 dec. there's caller tune activated on this cell and I had a message that company itself activated without any request, on next day I had a messege for deduction of rs. 30 for hello tune charges & my balance was -18. 00 something, before that my balance was around 11 rs. then I called to customer care the executive replied that it was company's promotional offer under which you will b given hello tune free for 3 months only you have to pay 30 rs./month. I told him to reverse it back and he replied it will b done by 3-4 days, now on 18th again I checked my balance it was 0.73 paise , as they have to return back whole 30 rs. and they only returned 20 rs. so I again called customer care yesterday and executive replied sir you are given 20 rs. back and 10 rs. in the form of airtel-airtel. I told him I dont want airtel-airtel talktime but I want normal talktime but he replied its technical fault so he can't and he also didnt take my complain and cut the call. after 10 min. before airtel/airtel talktime they offered some free messeges pack, after some min. I again call to customercare and the another executive offered me to give normal 6 rs. talktime if I dont want 10 rs. airtel-airtel talktime, I replied my normal talktime was 10 rs. give it back otherwise I will call to nodal officer, then after sometime he told me sir your 10 rs. will b credited tomorrow and he has taken the application and now today morning my talktime is again as before 1 week.
the whole intention behind these offers are as I didnt rechagre frequently and so by any way they want to fix my balance in minus or zero rs. so even I cant do miss call too and I will recharge my cell. it was all computer managed and done with all the lifetime users who doent recharge frequently so you can imagine by crores of users how much money they collect by cheating and say airtel is no. 1, I had same incident with airtel before 4 months that time they activated jokes serivece from company and again my balance was in minus and executive replied it was done by computer automated call......
in my seven years experience I can say as in means of transperancy if I have to give no.s then 1)bsnl 2)idea 3)tata and I give hutch and airtel "THE LAST" in terms of billing and cheating and of them AIRTEL IS THE BIGGEST CHAETER and they say we are no.1.................but our unfortune it happens only in india.
