In the absence of Mobile Number Portability the exploitationof the mobile operators is at the highest level. The so called the highest customer base operator is now with a gang of worst customer care executives led by most in efficient supervisor.


here is the experience mates......


Because of higher outgoing call rates(1.2p/s,others) and heavy roaming charges and no attractive full talk Time offer I keep this Airtel No as a primary number(for incoming) just for one reason of superior signal strength at my work place. But Now Vodafone also gives full signal strength there.


Today I went for top up. As there was no convenient option for knowing a full TT offer, I called 121 as even 198(Toll Free and 12131 toll free) was not working in Chandigarh in the afternoon today.I was told by the CC executive that Go for Rs 300 top up and you will get Rs 300 TT with unlimited validity. I trusted him and did the recharge and got just 269 Rs TT. I was fuming at the deceit of Airtel.


I was already at the loss of Rs 31 and 1 rs for talking on PAID LINES(Rs 0.5 for 3 minutes..lol).I called again to lodge the complaint on paid line( 121) instead of 198 which is Toll Free. Now , I have doubt that they do it INTENTIONALLY to earn this un ethical income.


Shame on you AIRTEL.


But Mr Sunil Mittal, do not forget you are not the king. CUSTOMER IS THE KING.


I was transfered to the Supervisor Mr SURAJ IN 2 minutes, again an earning for Airtel as I was on Paid lines. He is an arrogant cum least motivated and least trained employee( my perception!!) who at first place does not know how to answer a polite sentence by a customer and un neccessary extended the talk instead of listening me carefully, talked more than required. he denied bluntly that our executive can not do that. Mr Suraj, I also love my hard earned money as you do. Why I will do that on paid lines??


At last I was given the reference no CCLVO 30104218850dated 04 Dec 10. But the content was... not able to connect to Toll Free No... Lol.


I remember one more incident when my Welcome tune was renewed automatically without informing me. On huge protest the Lady supervisor returned the money.


Airtel is the worst company for not honouring the National Do not Call. I keep getting promotional messages from many sources and spend considerable time deleting them.


Waiting desperately for Mobile Number Portability in Chandigarh.
