I am from pune, I have been using this number since 2002 and every thing was fine, untill march 2007 when network coverage started getting bad, frequent call drops, poor quality of voice etc, i have been making complains on a weekly basis since then but .NOTHING HAPPENED.they just know how to say sorry for that and we will check it with our technical department as this is the first time we got such complaint! the quality of service not been affected only with me.every one I know has been complaining of the same but they dont care in airtel about customers concerns.


I am going to shift to onther operator who is more reliable and I guess it was a mistake when I took airtel connection the first time as they take customers for granted.last month they called me and said they are going to put new cells in kondhwa area which is going to cover a 15 kms radius and it will be functional within 10 days, a month later when I called to clarify about the same I was told that this is not true and airtel not planning at the near future to put any cells or boosters what so ever and they are sorry that I got a call from them which misleaded me.now when I asked them to disconnect my service I got a call back immediate(they took superfast time in getting in touch with me comparing to the very slow time they took to respond to the main issue) and they asked me not to disconnect their line and to give them one more month to sort out things.8 days passed and I dont think that any thing will happen within a month, if nothing happened since march how can they fix it witihin a month.
