At a time, Airtel was the name of reliablity in telecommunications portal. Efficient network, competitive pricing & affordable tariffs was the very definition of Airtel's legacy. But it seems that same is not the case anymore.
As of lately, Airtel has been investing too much on advertising its superspeed 4G network; in reality of which even proper voice calling coverage is not avaliable in Metro cities.
NETWORK
Airtel seriously needs to consider in this segment, for no Network Coverage, slow connectivity & frequent call drops has been a major recurrence in regards to this telecom gaint.
TARIFFS
Now, for a while Airtel has lost its originality in offering competitive tariffs to its consumers & it is quite evident in its blind followups to the pricing strategies of its competitors. Airtel, again needs to revert back to its tariff originality instead of blindly following other telco's plans.
VERDICT
So as far as Airtel goes, it needs a serious improvement in its Network Coverage & Tariff plans; if it wants to retain its legacy as a major telecom company.
