Air Tel. Review on Airtel Mobile Operator

Hi, I read the latest review about Air Tel. And my ultimate condolences are with you.

I have my own little piece to write about the product too.

Not only do they over charge, don't answer queries and basically act like maharajas once we have been dupred by the white and red, there isnt any coordination between the billing department, which has of course been outsourced and the administration department.

I had an airtel number four months back. My first month bill was a grand, which I was well and truly ready to pay. Since I was working at that time, I had always kept a cheque ready for the courier boy to pick up, but he never turned up!

One fine day, I get a call from a customer executive of Air Tel about the bill and she tells me NOT TO PAY ANY MONEY TO ANY PERSON COMING FROM AIRTEL.

That's right, NOT TO PAY MONEY. Instead, I was requested to come to an out of the way place somewhere in Malad West to pay the bill, which opened up conviniently only between my working hours.

Well, then I stopped using the mobile and all I got were bills and nobody ever turned up ever to come for the bill. And then all of a sudden one fellow lands up at my house with a bill of nine thousand!

Excuse me, were these people sleeping till this time? Or do they want proper ground to stand on before they come to ask for a bill? That ground being a hefty bill?

Oh and another matter, between these times when I went to the Airtel Shoppe in Borivli for a duplicate card, the cute young thing behind the desk told me that they DO NOT have a card to supply.

WOW! My cigarette vendor is better than this MNC. At least he doesnt trip me when I need my smoke!
