Now now if you want to know the art of duping customers and still being awarded the upcoming company of the year you need to contact Bharti teleservices or specifically there GSM/MOBILE TELEPHONY concern called lovably AIRTEL?.


This is the first time I?m writing a negative review?rather I was to write one?


I have been airtel customer for more than 2 years now?not by choice but by reasons?.coz I've this number for long and can't change it for some reasons though I would love to change my service provider but m stuck?.


Well all was working fine until a couple months ago, when these guys suddenly without any notice scrapped all the plans that were on to one single plan for prepaid custs?I had suffer heavily as I was on a corporate plan and suddenly all my benefits were gone?On top of it they deducted money from my credit without bothering to inform me?.lucky me?.!!!


After all this crap I had the pleasure of being a Airtel cust once again?.iI wanted GPRS enabled on my phone?.they did it early but the problem was it took more than a month for them to send my phone settings?whenever I tried to contact them ,either the line was busy or they simply hung up?then I devised a plan and started calling them 2 a.m so that someone would pick up the phone?but then a new problem cropped up ?Sir our tech dep?t works in morning?but then no one picks the phone in mornings?!!!!


After a month early morning calls they promised me they will call back and give me the settings..they did call me after 15 days for the settings when all the urge for GPRS was gone from my heart?


But my last sojourn with Airtel has been the worst and the reason to write here ?


Last week I got a call from Airtel regarding a post paid scheme which was there..the caller Miss SIA told me for a rental of 150 Rs you'll get 50 mins outgoing (local) billed at 30 Ps ?that?s is locally on any phone, be it mobile or landline and if I did not make any calls the whole month the only amount that I would pay is Rs 150?.I confirmed this around 5 times and finally opted for the plan?Also I paid Rs250 for membership which was refundable the moment I opt of this plan, irrespective of the time frame..


Now the trouble starts just to know about some billing info.. I called up airtel help line..


Miss Shruti picked the phone and gave me the ?GOOD NEWS? that I had be duped and the plan accdg to them is 50 mins for airtel to airtel only and not on any number locally ?and moreover the rental is 220 Rs not 150 as told earlier due to taxes?.which I was not told earlier even after repeated questioning?she told me that I never got a call from airtel but it was a dealer that they had outsourced to (DFO 38)?.wow ?when I asked I want a canx and refund of my money they told me that there is a 24 month boundation period and no money refund?.which they never told me earlier?


After lot of hard work I found the dealer number and identity who had duped me..when I gave this info to airtel they appreciated my efforts and told me that there is nothing that can be done?now i`m planning to report this all crap to authorities?.i even contacted the dealer pretending to be a potential cust..n they again gave me wrong info..this how they misguide cust to earn commission..now airtel wants written commitment from me ,which they never gave me in the first place?phew ?


One word for the customer care people in airtel too?they r a bunch of unethical craps ..they use words like ?it`s your problem sir? rather than empathizing and understanding the cust..moreover i`ve across few people who use slangs and are pretty abusive too?that?s customer care for you?.great India leads in Customer care though?


I`m too tired of all this crap and m thinking to write a formal complaint to the authorities and the consumer forum as well?..


The art of duping customers and then also being awarded the emerging company of year by Economic Times is perfectly mastered by Airtel?are you listening Mr MITTAL..


AIRTEL SUCKS BIG TIME....
