Hello,
This is the 3rd time I am facing trouble with new airtel connection.
I had purchased this prepaid connection(new number 99xxxxxxxx)
from DK Telecom(Ansal valley view shopping complex, gurgaon faridabad
road, Gurgaon ph 9810671954) on 16th Dec. I had submitted copy of my
PAN card, Driving License and photograph. New number got activated on
17th evening and was working fine till 20 th Dec. After this incoming
and outgoing calls were barred on this number on 19th Dec.
When I asked customer care they told me documents have not
reached them. Then I called retailer for this. He confirmed
documents were sent on time. then I again called customer care on 22nd
Dec they told me due to some technical problem this number is not
working and with work within next 24 hrs(complaint number 1222250970)
I was out of town for Xmas holidays when I came back on 28th I
called up customer care again and I was shocked to know that my number
has been permanently disabled and executive told me I have lost all my
money I spend on this new connection(Rs 295 for lifetime prepaid+ Rs
248 recharge) he told me this happened because verification had
failed. when I asked him more he told me that verification department
had called on my new number on 19th Dec and no one ans called( may be
n/w problem or something else) but I told him I had never received any
call from airtel for verification neither on new number nor on
alternate number( 98xxxxxxxx) I provided them. And without and
verification call they discontinued my connection.
*I suspect a big scam behind this. company is selling same number
to many people and they activate number for 2-3 days then discontinue
it for verification failure without making verification calls.*
Yesterday, 29th Dec, I visited airtel customer relationship
centre at S-45 Sahara mall, Gurgaon to resubmit documents but they
refused to take documents saying that I need to refill only
verification form which was not with them at that time.
I called airtel Delhi nodal officer(9818334865) and complaint
about their verification process but he refused to provide me
complaint number for this.
Since 20th Dec my new connection is dead and 543 Rs got wasted in this scam.
