I took airtel 4G LTE connection 2 weeks ago after the sales person did a fabulous job convincing me about the speed and feeds. The connection was sold to me by Shiva Sai Telenet in Bangalore on behalf of airtel, airtel folks did not even oblige to send me a bill. On the 3rd day the service failed and I called up theit 1-800 support number and register a complaint.
Someone talked and I troubleshooted the device for 30 minutes and no luck. I called up the support folks next day and they send someone from their support team to check on the device, the service guy blamed it on network backend team and left the scene after some trouble shooting. I continued to call the support number for a timely resolution of issue without success. They promised to send a duplicate SIM and it did not reach me after 10 days. I was on business travel for a week in between in any case there was ample time to provide the documents. Worst part is that they keep on demanding your personal documents for providing duplicate SIM though the same was handed over to them when the service was sold to me.
Althrough, I found the Airtel 4G LTE service team to be unprofessional, they dont care about their customers or business and they dont maintain any SLA. Sadly but true, they dont coordinate at all and in fact they often blame another department or management for the delay in resolving issues. Hardly any ownership and accountability and they make the customer pay the price for trusting them for reliable service.
