I've got Airtel DTH as a free gift along with my Samsung LCD TV. As many of the others mentioned here, until I pay the money service was really good. After paying the money, they never ket the promise. The installation guy was supposed to come on a day and after 4 follow ups he came to install it (after 4 days). Now on 7th of April I raised a request to add a Channel.
They said to do this they have to re-align the dish for which it will take 72 Hrs (3 days). As I expected it didnt happen with the SLA period, after 3 follow ups (mean while they missed 2 other promised days as well) one engineet came to my apartment on 13th. He did a re-alignment (that was he told). Unfortunately it was a working day and I was not at home.
He asked "Service Charge" from my baby sitter and he said he will not give any bill/receipt for it. When I said I will not given any money for this free service, he even threaten my baby sitter. Any way when I aclled the customtakeouter care on the same evening, I came to know that the re-alihnment didnt happend. Today its the 11th day since I raised the complaint and the channel is not yet added, but they were prompt in closing the tickets saying some or the other reasons.
Send email to digitaltv@airtel.in. But no one cared to open the email at all. Any way I'm going to stop the usahe of this bloody bod ASAP.
