I had a very bad experience from the Airtel DTH, Below is some highlights .. I was going to shift from monopoly of cables to the DTH in last month.
I thought of buyinh Dish TV , TATA sky or Airtel DTH . I have seen couple of reviews on Mouthshut and found that overall Airtel was better in feedback from people except few complaints fof customer service.
So I went ahead and bouhgt the AIrtel DTH from the dealer and also they have some offer running ....so their cost was better compared to all other vendore. My dealer told that it will be installed in 48hours of time .
First problem : I was not able to log the installation request due to some problem in their system , so I called my dealer for the help and somehopw he managed to log the installtion call. Then started the real problem they said they will come tomorrow for installation at 11am . I was waiting at home till 12 , when nobody came I called Customer care , they said he will reach in another 1 hour.
Nobody turned up even after 1 hopur so I cal;led them again after 1.30 hrs ...then they said like their is no request put on your name , your order no is not generated so we can't do anything before tommoroow.So they booked a slot of 9 am for me ...
next day nobody turned till 10 so I called custom, er care , agaian same problem , they said you sysatem is locked on your name , we need to relaese so , we need minimum 24 hrs time .....we can't do anything before that ....
This same harrashment continued for several days and finally ....i lost all the hope and after 1 week .....The I went to my dealer and siad to exchange the system else I will go to consumer court ...Guesss what ....somhow he agreed to give me TATA Sky and It got installed in 1 hour of booking the ..system .....So .......how horrible is their system and people ....you could relaise from this ....
Every time io use to call customer care something new use to be told to me .....never ever think of buying .....Last time I submitted my review mouthshut people deleted it ....but I wanted all of you to know before buyinh so I have takenm all the pain agaian and tying it ...and making an copy of it such that I ncase it is deleted I will upload it ....I don't want others to suffer that same fate ....
