I called up the Airtel call center to inquire about new DTH services.
Their marketing and sales people were brilliant at their work and managed to sale their product to me.
Installation was done within 24 hours but then started the wicked circle.
Services were not activated post 4 hours so I called the Engineer to installed set top box at my place.
He requested me to call the help centre. They asked for tons of information and assured that services will start in next 2 hours.
I waited till the next day and called back the help center.again same information asked and assurance to start services in 4 hours.
No relief.
3rd day from installation, I called the help center and requested them to uninstall the set up and refund money. Then they raised a ticket on my behalf.
After that I kept receiving SMSes that my ticket is received, ticket is assigned and(without resolution) ticket is resolved.
Again called help center and asked them why was the ticket closed? Answer "Engineer informed the problem is resolved!"
I was irritated this time and literally yelled at the support executive, he provided me the number of Engineer.
I called up Engineer, he said he had reset my service and that should have resolved the problem. If it is not resolved I need to call help center again and ask them to open new ticket.
This went on for SIX days and finally my services started after making dozens of phone calls to various people who had no clue what the root cause of the issue was.
Will never recommend AIRTEL to any one!
