Airtel DTH opt if you have Money, Time and ....

I am Dharmendra Kumar and unfortunately bought Airtel DTH connection on 4th of April. Here is the complete sequence.


I put up a query on Airtel website. Then got a call and the guy said he is from Airtel (Phone Number 01204087604). I discussed so many packages and asked the guy to email me the details.I called the customer care number as I missed one point and when I wanted to discuss the package offered to me the executive said there is no such package.Never mind clarified my doubts and later on received the mail for the guy who called me. To my surprise the mail server was not of air tell so I asked him why is that.


Then he told me that he is not from Airtel but from Vriti InfoCom. and they are Airtel online channel partner for selling this product. So after a lot of discussions and considerations I finalized and bought the connection.following was the deal.


One time payment of Rs 2500/


Free subscription for the six month.


All the channels till six month.


Rs 235/ pm charge after six month


ESPN Start sports will not be available after six month and I need them I will have go for top up package. So I bought it. Service was good they delivered pretty quickly and installed it on the same day. Very Good. When I called for activation to your customer care number they took all the details. I asked him what will be charges for me after six month the guy said441/.


So obviously I was surprised. This is not what was explained to me. While discussion was going on, somehow call got disconnected and there onward I started struggling. Spoke to one Vikas in Vriti and he said don't worry everything will be fine. In about 30 mnts I started receiving the signals also.


After 3 days I got a call from your customer care and I must say the guys who called me was so rude that I was surprised as if he is from some recovery agency. Never mind I spoke to him and he informed me that I have to pay 1000/-more to continue receiving signal. Failing which I will be disconnected. I spoke to Vikas again and as usual he assured me that nothing will happen.


On Friday 10th April the DTH is disconnected. I started following up with Vriti again but no one was available. Saturday they said its holiday for them so they can't help me. Monday they said they will look into it and will call me back in30 minutes. So far it’s been 4 hours but no one is picking my phone now. Mean while I spoke to your customer care also on Friday and he assured me that things will be fine before 16th April (7 Days) (Complain ID 637994). So I do not have any option but to wait till 16th April and not to mentioned without TV.


So in the whole process I spent hundreds of Rs in phone calls not to mention about my family's favorite TV programs.I considered Airtel because "A young company with good track record in mobile phone." but I was so very wrong.
