Hi All,
I have been using Airtel Digital TV since last 2.5 years.
It was a smooth journey till I met the roadbloack a few days ago.
I had to shift and for that I got it uninstalled(by Airtel) & installed(by Airtel).
My box being HD DVR required two input wires but the Service engineer connected it with one input wire using connector, due to which the some of my channels stopped coming in few hours. I had already paid for the installation and the connectors used by the Engineer.
On next day I called the same Airtel Service engineer again who set up the other input wire, but no signal was coming now. He told that the device has been damaged and I need to pay for the new device. It needs to be noted that the Signals were duly coming until the Engineer came.
Since that day, I am calling Customer care but there has been no concrete assistance.
I even approached the Nodal Officer but again I was asked to pay & was blamed for the damages which have been clearly(knowingly or unknowingly) done by the Airtel Engineer.
It has been almost 20 days of sheer harassment where I am asked the same story again and again by different people and then blamed for the Engineer's mistake.
Anyways, I have requested disconnection now, but will not let them go easily on this . I will soon approach the Consumer Court for the mental harassment Airtel has done for the last 20 days. I am sure I will be able to teach them a lesson on their behaviour towards the consumers.
Anyone, please let me know the easier steps to approach the Consumer Court in Pune.
