Airtel DTH sucks big time. I got a multi connection on Apr 28 and paid Rs 12817 through their call centre for a HD - DVR and a normal connection along with annual subscription. I was told it will be a free installation and be done within 24-48 hours. It has been a week and not even once has anyone from Airtel tried to contact me for installation. Instead I have been calling them everyday. Their call center is worst it can be.
I don't know if they intentionally cut your calls or their system is so pathetic that your calls get dropped. But 90% of times your calls get dropped when you call their call center. If you tell the customer service executive to transfer the call to escalation dept it will definitely result in your call dropping.
Every time you call them they will tell you that they are sending a mail to back-end team and it will get back to you in 1 hour but no one calls back. They are not even cancelling my connection and refund the money. Basically the call center executive is clueless on refund process and when they transfer call to their seniors it gets dropped. Pls stay away from this company and go with Tata Sky anytime.
