I am Airtel DTH customer and my account number is 3007212378. Airtel service on DTH is unimaginably bad. Here is my experience. I purchased the airtel DTH connection on 27th Feb and till today (8th March) my account has not set up properly and I have experienced every possible problem while setting up a new connection.
Sad part is that their customer care agent, Supervisor, Back end team, Escalation team to field engineer every possible person involved in this case provide false commitment while installation to resolving any technical issue. After all these days of struggle, I am finally able to get some channels through Airtel DTH.
But still there is lot of distortion in some of the channels. For last two days, I have been calling customer care to fix this problem. and as always there has commitment of sending a engineer by yesterday (7th March) 4PM. and nothing happened. When I called on 7th night, one cu care agent open a new case after half hour I got two SMS saying that both my cases are closed.
I have no clue what is going on. I guess this is how Airtel provides service. Anyway, today the 8th March I called up again, your cu care suggested me to write an email to these email ids. and problem continues. SO, my suggestion for AIRTEL DTH is a BIG NO.
