Accessing the internet nowadays is a pretty tricky affair because most of the operators have witnessed a steep hike in their data plans charge which has exponentially lowered the amount of data provided as well. This results in a smart choice of dongles or data cards.
Now there are a dozen of such stuffs out there in the market which promises to be the best but very few live up to the expectation. The most common problems with majority data cards are:
a.) Most of them have a poor network reception.
b.) Frequent hanging of the software.
However I have been using Airtel data card for the last 3 years and did not feel the need to complain yet.
When it comes to accessing the internet, no one does it better than the King of Smartphone network ‘Airtel’. Be it a dongle or a SIM card of this company. I am a firm believer of Airtel and its network. Thereby I purchased the Airtel 3G dongle from a nearby retailer at Rs.1699, however the data card is available at a far cheaper rate in online stores.
Few features of the Airtel Data card are:
1.) High Speed Internet up to 21MBps – Now everyone holds that speed rate tag but only few live up to it. Airtel is one among the few. The data card is capable of accessing internet up to a speed of 21MBps. Of course for Indian networks, the speed hardly crosses 4-5MBps. However, I literally compared Airtel and Reliance Net connect dongle and the former was ahead by a god margin.
2.) Instant WIFI for all supported devices – The data card comes with an in-built WIFI router that serves as a WIFI modem for other WIFI supported devices like smartphone or tablets.
3.) 2 in 1: Dongle and Card Reader – The Airtel 3G data card serves as a dongle as well as a card reader. The card slot is given to the side of the dongle and supports micro-SD cards.
The above features come extremely handy. Besides, when I purchased the dongle, I was additionally provided with a 3Gb Airtel high speed internet data because of the offer period.
Summing it up, the Pro’s and Cons’ of the Airtel 3G data card are:
Pro’s – 1.) High speed internet up to 21MBps.
2.) Brilliant network reception,
3.) In-built WIFI and Card reader.
Con’s – 1.) 4G not supported
2.) The data card gets heated after a minimal use.
Recommendation – There is no reason why you shouldn’t purchase this great device. It’s a hen at this price and is worth every single penny. I have personally tested it and has been using it for the last few years. Strongly recommended by me to all.
