If you are looking for a broadband connection, go for Airtel! if and only if! there are no other broadband service providers in your locality.In any locality there are only about two -three service providers in Bangalore.This does limit your options( in my case only two). I opted for Airtel only because the other service provider was worse than Airtel.
Now to tell you some of the things which will make you hate Airtel brodband,
1) The connection breaks down very often, apparently the CS team will not be able to help you with this, when you raise a compliant they promise you that it will be fixed within 24 hours, but this problem is always present( this problem is faced by almost everyone with airtel broadband)
2) They raise your broadband subscription 6 months after you have had your connection, so whatever you are promised as a promotion package or the sales rep tells you is temporary, I had chosen a subscription of 1150 which is now 1374, one more thing is whatever plans they offer vat amount will be included separately
3) CS team is all promises and less action: D
The speed which I get at 1374 Rs/per month is only 2 MBPS with 40 GB monthly limit( earlier I had You broadband which does not provide service in my current locality, I use to get the same speed at 750 Rs/per month and unlimited download not sure about their current plans)
