I have been using Airtel - Landline Broadband since 2004. About a year back when we had some new Cable Internet Service providers started offering service I requested Airtel to disconnect the Broadband service and just retain the Landline. They readily obliged. A few months back I shifted my residence to an area where Airtel operates and asked them to shift my Landline.
I subscribed to another cable internet service provider in the new location too since the bandwidth offered was much higher. Airtel said they will shift the line ONLY if I buy their broad band service as well. I said I don't need it since I already had one from another provider. After almost 2 months of follow up and escalation they still came back and said they will not be able to help.
So they were ok to lose a customer but not be flexible in their product bundle! and that too for something which they had been offering for the past 1 year!
Pathetic to say the least!
