I had taken airtel broadband 5 months back with 799 INR PM with speed of 512 KBP(electronic city, Bangalore) and after 2 month they revised the speed with one 1 MBPS with unlimited download and I don't have issue with connection its never down in last 6 month not even for 5 mints.I am quite happy with speed but please be sure unlimited plan doesn't mean that you get always download speed the same they offered after 10 GB download airtel decrease the download speed however its unlimited download.
but they never give old plans in same rate for example I had taken this plan 799 but this plan is now available in 900 rs and even in that you would get 512 kbps only .Airtel increased the speed of all old pland by making it double means whatever plan you had conevrted the speed double say 256 kbps became 512 kbps without changing in plan so my plan speed now 1 mbps.one more thing they had offer earlier
that if you pay 3 months subscription in advance then there is no installation charges earlier and wirless router was given by taing 2K with condition that if I would continue with plan for one year they would return 200 RS everymonth till to 10 months.
i am very happy with service.
I was promised by Airtel sales man that I would be able to call free of cost within my apartment by using of 5 last digit of anyones phone and it would work like extention. He promised that it would be activated automatically wheras it doesnt happen anymore and still I cant make calls to local extention.
when I called to customer care they told me that for activating that facility I have to rush tpo airtel office for giving request that is completely against the commitment.
