I have taken a airtel broadband connection last month. Within one week of getting the connection the phone gone dead. I have given complaint to the customer care.
Even after 24 hrs nobody turned up. I tried calling them 3 times, Then finally they came and rectified the problem. They promised me a refund of Rs 100, but they didn't do it my last months bill.
When I asked the customer care person they told they need the complaint number. By mistake I misplaced the number b'coz I trusted airtel in this matter. They dont have the number in the database. Unless and until I give the number they cant credit the amount to my account. Such a fraud business people I have never seen.
Then starts another problem in getting my userid and password.I have called up airtel everyday to get the user id and pwd. Every day they tell the server is down.After two weeks I got that. Then about speed. I have taken Home 777plan. 2mbps speed. I have never seen more than 350 kbps in the connection. I dont know some people are blindly believing the airtel connection.
Moreover I have been using BSNL broadband. Some road construction work was going on in my area and due to the frequent faults and delay in rectifying the fault I shifted to airtel. Now I understood the mistake I made. BSNL broadband has a very good speed. I used to get 1.8mbps most of the time. Only problem in bsnl is if there is any fault they wont turn up easily. But the same situation I have experienced in airtel. Paying more and becoming fools. I am planning to go back to BSNL, BSNL is the best broadband in market and the cheapest.
I am requesting all the BSNL broadband customers, dont ever disconnect the connection and go for any private operator. Dont do the same mistake what I did. BSNL is the best connection. If anybody is suggesting for Airtel then they have not used and seen a good broadband.
