I have the Home 699 128kbps plan from Airtel Broadband. It is a very good service with virtually no downtime, stable connectivity, and well an ok type customer service.
I have been using the service for almost a year now and the maintenance, complaing logging, bill payments, bill retreival, etc. have been made very easy by the customer portal that Airtel has. I have paid only my first bill by check, all the rest have been paid online. It is convenient to use and the 10 MB mailbox is another free goodie. Best part is that I get a landline number free of cost, which I use only for incoming calls. There is no rental for it, so I control my bill sort to say on this number. Call rates are not too expensive compared to the benefits the plan offers!
Just pray that you dont get it not working anytime because it may take anywhere from 50 calls to 8 days to be fixed!!! Overll the product/service is good.
