I stay in Fraidabad and was satisfied with my Sify Broadband connection when the airtel people came knocking here told me about their excellent plan with same cost, 100 free minutes, excellent speed and service. I thought what could be better. I have an Airtel telephone connection since past 5 years and I am brand loyal so why not. So I took the connection.
What the Airtel people did not tell me that their bill gets generated, the itemization of the bill comes only 10 days post that. So if you want an itemized bill you have to Pay Rs 50.00 extra. So in order to check your bill you need to pay up.
Well that is just the begining of the story for the people who wanna pay up. Because the customer service is so awesome(sarcasm my friend) you will be struggling with the IVR for next 15-20 minutes hearing over and over about your outstanding and then when you finally after moving into IVR loops manage to hit the extension for someone whom you can talk to, they will hang up.
Yes, my friend, the call drop rate is 50:1. So every 50 times you try and finally get to the rep you can only manage to talk to them once. And why not they have to meet their Averge call time. And if you do finally get to them, they are disrespectful lot of people, most of whom are sleeping and behave as if their night sleep, or day sleep have been interrrupted by mean little customer.
I guess Airtel believes that if they keep a Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali, AR rehaman, Shreays Talpade and the long list of celecrity happy with their fat cheques for their smiling faces, it does not matter if the customer dies of anxiety and dissatisfaction. So after my horeenduos experience with Airtel, I am getting MY 5 year OLD connection cancelled in favour of a VODAFONE... why not ......... though they do not have Saif-Kareena and all the whole list.. THEY AT LEAST ARE HAPPY TO HELP..........
PS: My Aitel conncetivity that they proudly advertise abt.. failed me in my Ranikhet..while my friends Vodafone was working ....
