Bad connectivity very slow customer service. Review on Airtel Broadband

I am suffering because of having airtel broadband connection in Bangalore. First of all I bought a wireless modem which disconnects time to time. also I have asked them to replace the modem since 4 weeks and the person either does not life the call or tells that it is not available and asked me to use wire till he gets one.With wire too I was able to connect only for few days. After that I have not be able to connect to internet for 2 weeks now. Every time I call customer service there is total lack of communication between the people who work on the field and who take calls. the people who take calls irrespective of the number of times I tell them that I have undergone the drill which they ask you to do on phone like switch off the modem and switch it on, run the ipconfig, reversing the cable and connecting from modem to pc etc, I am still made to do the same drill over and over again till the final time I refused to do anything more.

I am still waiting to get the line corrected which is bad from outside. I don't know how many customers are suffering and will continue to suffer from their poor service.

I would strongly recommend you not to go for airtel broadband and go for may be tata indicom. I had a tataindicom data card and I never had any problem with connectivity.

I will be waiting for some more time for the problem to be corrected since I had paid 1400 for the modem and one more problem is that if you have not purchased the modem from airtel and you get any connectivity problem, they will make you purchase the modem from them.
