I am writing this review hours after Airtel folks completed the installation of Airtel Broadband services at my residence, as an attempt to showcase their responsive customer service.
Recent changes in our professional and personal lives made us realise that we just could not 'survive' with one broadband connection. We needed one more connection to finish work at home, stay connected with family using webcam etc. The need to stay wired was getting acute and we needed to get another connection.
Courtesy a corporate deal I approached AIRTEL with my own rules - I just had to get the connection in 3 days. If it was going to take more time, then I was not interested. I threw this challenge though I was mentally prepared to wait for the number of days it would take. After all the need was ours.
But AIRTEL rose to the challenge and without flaunting any rules etc they gave me the connection in 3 working days. They were very prompt and it did not take any push etc to meet my request. The performance has been very good. The installation engineer was very systematic in saving all the details on my system, helping me note all the user details, contact numbers etc. These are the basics, some of you would say. But to that my response is - how many companies adhere to basics today? They take customers for granted.
This was a refreshing change after a very long time. Thank you AIRTEL! The emotions they portray in their ads is not a marketing gimmick. They sincerely mean them!
