Sub: Billing Error...for the second time No 044 45511484


I am having Airtel Broadband connection from March 2007, with a plan which has free usage time from 09.00pm to 0800am and during day time 300mbs.


I am regularly monitoring my usage through your unbilled data, and never crossed the limit and my bill was around Rs 550.00 every month. During May-June 2009 billing cycle I noticed that free usage timings were billed and I made complaint through tel No 121 and also through mails to your customer care , Nodal Officer etc. I was informed that during billing the error will be corrected, which did not happen. I received an inflated bill and after my complaint again I was asked to pay only as per my plan.


Now again from 04.09.2010, I noticed that free timings usage have been shown in unbilled usage. I made a complaint to 121 and also through mail to your customer care. I received an SMS to my mobile giving complaint No 37258310 dt 05.09.10 and stating that I will be contacted before 07.09.10. On 07.09.10, I received a call from your customer care and I explained how my free timing browsing have been included in the unbilled usage data. Also I said every time I go to the net I receive a msg " track your Usage...with wording I do not have any limit and I should avoid unpleasant situation later on". I was informed that my complaint will be forwarded to the concerned department. To my surprise I received a SMS and mail msg on 08.09.2010, stating that my complaint has been resolved. Again I gave a mail and called 121 and asked how my complaint has been resolved. Still the unbilled usage reflects usage done during free time. I was told that my complaint is resolved. I contacted your billing department Mr Srinivasan. He said that the complaint is resolved and the billing is correct.


Again I made a complaint to your Nodal Officer immediately and I received a SMS msg just now stating that my complaint no 37482952 ..I will be contacted on 20.09.2010.


I fail to understand what is happening ? No one is prepared to rectify the mistake made or probably they know the error and wanted it to continue.


When I took Airtel broadband connection three years back, I was told by many friends that billing will not be perfect in Airtel and inflated bill will be raised and no one will give prompt reply to our complaints...This I am experiencing now...This is the second time in three years.


The complaint is very crystal clear.. Billing has been made for free time usage . This has to be rectified. What is the fun in giving evasive replies and stating that the complaint is resolved etc..
