I used to be a big fan of Airtel and have been using their broadband / phone for last 7 years. Specially used love their service - immediate response was the norm. But over the last two months I have been having disastrous experience with them on the following grounds -
My broadband is working for last 5 days - raised ticket and they promised visiting within 12 hours to check the issue - finally they turned up after 5 days. tells me my adaptor needs to be changed - they dont handle modems anymore and I have to go to Beetal service center and pick up - they dont support the modem they actually provided us - what kind of service TAT or accountability is this from a company this repute?
My website is mostly not accessible from any Airtel connection but works from all other ISPs. After multiple follow up Airtel could not provide any clarity and now they ignore communications. Dont they really care?
I wanted to set up a voicemail in the phone - they asked me to use dial 1551# and set it up - but the IVR just does not work after you go to 1551# - then they say call a particular number which does exist - I really dont know what to do here after multiple phone calls to their call center
The call center has no escalation process. Provides a name and a number for escalation which does exist
I beleive Airtel may outsourced their service. Do they know really the kind of problems customers are facing? or do they do not really care in the semi-monopoly that they have created today.
