I had taken an airtel broadband subscription around April, 2011 and paid Rs 500 as the subscription charges. The formalites/documents were complete but I never got the connection active.
I was later told by Airtel that the building I am residing in doesn't have an airtel lines connected, hence I won't be able to get a connection. Hence, I asked for a reimbursement which has not come through till now(Aug, 2011).
The funny thing is that in between this period I have gotten calls from other Airtel Broadband Agents to get an internet connection. These guys again promised that the connection will be live within a couple of days but I was later told that there is still no Airtel connectivity in my building.
It's appalling to see such a big company duping customers into taking connections and robbing them off their money.
