Would like to share with you my disgusting experience with Airtel Executives.


31st Aug - I had an issue with my telephone line -41642943. Airtel executives visited my house and repaired it. Told me there was some rusting issue with the lines. After 1day I realize that my Broadband is not working.


3rd September - I log a complaint in call centre -complaint no. 11287014. An Airtel person visits my house and after checking informs me that the Airtel guys who came to rectify my phone problem on 31st Aug have actually REMOVED my broadband connection. He said that he will come tomorrow - around 10 am - with the electrician to rectify my line.


4th Sept - I received a call from the same Airtel executive saying that he will visit at 7pm instead. But finally no one turns up.


5th Sept - I do not hear anything from Airtel. My Broadband still remains disconnected.


6th Sept - I call up Airtel call centre. A very sweet voice informed me that my complaint has ACTUALLY BEEN CLOSED! And the reason behind the problem was a SPLITTER ISSUE! I argued that how could they close a complaint without rectifying the issue? And I insisted on reopening the same complaint. Instead they opened a NEW complaint - complaint no. 11410740. They also gave me the mobile number of their supervisor(Mr. Manjunath - mob. no. 9945501586). When I called him up he very sweetly told me that he will call back in 5 minutes after checking the details. And as expected he never called back.


9th Sept - I call up Mr. Manjunath again and he informed me that he will ask the concerned person to call me up by 10 a.m. But as usual no one called me up and I waited till 12:30 pm. In the mean time I tried calling up Mr. Manjunath but either his number was always busy or his phone kept on ringing. Finally I got a call from Mr. Ajit(not very sure of his name). And instead of understanding my plight he started BLAMING ME. He said that if both my phone and broadband was not working in the room then WHY DIDN I NOT INFORM THAT EARLIER! Till now all the Airtel executive whom I spoke to were Ineffective but at least courteous. But this guy – Ajit - was really rude. Finally he obliged me by saying that he will send his electrician by 3 pm today. But as very, very usual - NO ONE TURNED UP.


I am really tired of talking to your Call Centre and Airtel executives and therefore thought of writing instead. All I can do now is to switch to some other vendor who can at least give me a service which I am paying for.
