Help & Support:

Around 3 months back I was watching Airtel 4G videos on youtube and I decided maybe I could give it a try. So I left Call me back message on their website and within an hour someone called and came to my home for a demo.  From the demo I saw that they roughly gave me download speeds of 1200 KBps which is equivalent to around 10 Mbps connection speed.

The router was delivered within 3 days of the demo and the connection got activated a day after the address verification. But as I tried to connect to 4g I saw that my router signal light (photos enclosed) was not on. Even after 24 hours of activation I could not get any connection.

I finally called Airtel Support - some of them are quite dumb and clueless while few others are good. A airtel engineer was sent and he solved the problem immediately. After that I am using it Speed mostly remains around 10 Mbps (https://speedtest.net/my-result/2485245784)

some times falls to 5 Mbps in peak times (https://speedtest.net/my-result/2865273222)

and other times 19 Mbps. (https://speedtest.net/my-result/2485252420)

So more or less you will get around 1000 KBps download speed most of the time. In peak hours not always have I experienced a drop - it happens sometimes.

Please note I only have the router (Atel ALR-W192) and I don't know about the multimode dongle speeds. I plan to buy a dongle and check the speeds and update this review. For any feedback, suggestions, comments feel free :-)

P.S One more thing speed of 4g depends a lot on signal strength - if you have this device (Atel) then go to the web interface (192.168.0.1) and log on with user/pass and check the signal strength.
