Hi,
Recently I bought AIRTEL 4G hotspot dongle. As per advertisements I was expecting it to give me really good speed, comparable to broadbands. For the first month it was working fine. But after that the drama started. Everytime I try to connect the dongle I end up spending close to 1 hr getting the signal. Even if I get the signal and home page of airtel show as LTE connected I am not able to browse
any website. I called up customer care 3-4 times. Every time they will take my request but nothing is done to resolve it. During one such call I was told that there are lot of user in my area so AIRTEL is building new tower here which will take 90 days. I was shocked to hear this.
Did they not know about all this when they claimed high speed and all sorts of lies while selling the dongle to me. I demanded to talk to the supervisor. When he came on call I explained him everything but to my surprise he was too brazen to state that if it doesn't work in my area he can give me discount on my bill amount. I don't understand if its not working then what's the point of having discount on bill. I demanded a refund of the amount they charged while selling all this lie to me. To which he very proudly replied that it cannot happen I can do whatever I want. He was sounding like he was the owner of Airtel. I don't understand why airtel employs such mis-behaved people. I use Airtel's other services as well. No where I have faced such brazen behavior.
Very poor service.
