Had activated smartbytes on 15th april for 10gb but was never able to use it. Raised a service complaint with Airtel on 16th April which was closed without resolving on 20th April and the reason given was that the customer did not pick up the call when the technician tried to call on 20th. Amazing!


Had to raise a new service request and was told that it will get resolved in next 4 days.


Visited Airtel walk-in store in Bangalore nandidurga road and even the manager has no idea as to what's going on and why smartbytes was not yet activated even though the customer had recieved the activation message.


It's the 8th day now since internet has stopped working and Airtel is taking its own time to push the service complaint from one team to another without any resolution and then possibly again close the complaint saying it has been resolved without any resolution.


Pathetic customer service with Airtel Bangalore.


Had another pathetic experience with these gods(Airtel - they are not answerable to anyone- no accountability no authority). Changed my mobile postpaid plan to 499 and the internet stopped working immediately. As a result there was no internet on mobile and neither the 4g WiFi internet was working. Raised about complaint request with Airtel on 20th april and was told will get a call in next 24 hours. On following up with Airtel customer care the next day, I was told there was no complaint raised the previous day and if I had any reference number with me. I did not have any reference number as I was told that it will be sent to me in SMS after the call but did not get anything. Next day the customer service guy says that there was no complaint raised possibly because the I did not explicitly ask for the reference number to be read out in the call. Seriously? Even though they have a proof of call and notes regrading the complaint, there was no complaint raised as I did not note down the reference number and hence no proof from my side about the complaint being made. Same was the response from the Airtel walk-in store manager as well. Pathetic and disgusting tricks being played by Airtel customer care to deceive the customers.


Airtel customer care is too much of hassle and inconvenience to customers.


Too much of time wasted on calls with customer care to raise multiple service requests and visiting the Airtel store in trying to get the work done. It's like the customer having to micro manage the Airtel team in trying to fix the issue as they have no sense of responsibility and no one to answer to.
