AIRLIFT movie is based on a real story of 1990 when iraq invaded kuwait and that timw there was crisis so all wanted to go to their homeland so the indians and in this movie akshay kumar played the role of ranjit katiyal .the movie was really well directed by the raja menon and the songs are also very good like SOCH NA SAKE and TU BHOOLA JISE
and the nimarat kaur also acted very well overall the movie airlift was a mix of patriotism, emotions and good punch lines by whole airlift team but in reality the story is completely different beacuse in reality there is no ranjit katiyal and there was two person who played a tremendous role in whole evacuation process that lead to evacuation of approx 1.2 lakh indians instead of 1.7 as depicted in the movie but to make the movie for the viewers it was twisted even though it was a very good movie I liked the movie as it released near republic day so if you want you can go and enjoy the extraordinary performance of akshay kumar
