There are two main movies to watch this weekend.
First one is Airlift( for grown ups)
2nd one is KKHH3( for dumb perverts who love senseless adult comedy)
First of all Kudos to Akshay Kumar for doing these kind of movies. While other stars are losing their ways in picking good story. Akshay does 4-5 movies a year but atleast 2 of them have great stories.
Airlist is one of those, a very good subject, nice story line with very good acting performances. I really liked it and totally recommend it for this weekend. Otherwise KKHH3 is also released for those kind of people who like to waste their money and time on senseless adult comedies.
Here are 5 reasons to give you this flim a shot.
1) Subject: It's a story worth telling, it is a true story that will make you love your country even when you have forgotten how to. It will tell you that even when people turn their backs on India in search of better horizons, India never turns its back on its people.
2) Great set and location: It was filmed in UAE, but the set was dressed up as 1990s Kuwait ro bring Airlift to life. And I must say that they did it very well.
3) Storyline: This is not a war film. It's all soul. The directors and actors( well most of them) are convinced that the taste of bollywood audiences have evolved now. Now there's an appetite for films that won't follow the stupid song and dance formula.
4) Great performance of the star cast: Airlift brings together Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur( The Lunchbox actress) and they did it very nicely.
5) A-listers plus good content: Picturisation, Cinematography, Scene sequence. Everything is nicely done.
So I have only one thing to say, GO FOR IT!: -)
