I don't know is anyone named Ranjit Katyal as per movie CHARACATER Name of Akshay kumar but according to History and and internet knowledge we all are know that Iraq-Kuwait invasions. As per Movie and history India is the country which is known for safe almost 1, 70, 000 peoples from Kuwait which is recorded as largest air evacuation which can't done till now by anyone and can't be done ever again recently General V.K singh saves 40, 000+ peoples and 30, 000 foreigners feom yemen which is also great but not going in depth with this.

Story/Plot
The Story Of movie is based on true event as I already wrote that it is pictured on Iraq-Kuwait invasion Gulf war conducted by Suddam hossain which was later hanged by America on 30th December 2006
Story revolves around Ranjit Katyal character played by Akshay kumar who termed as the successful Indian businessman in Kuwait running his construction business who feels India is not good in comparison with Kuwait lives with his wife played by Nimrat kaur known for her acting in The lunchbox and their cute girl child.
Suddenly Iraq starting killing kuwatis led by the Suddam Hussain in this Iraq killed Ranjit Katyal's Driver but didn't killed him as he saved himself by saying I am indian but driver mistakenly spoke in other languages which leada him to kill and iraqi police takes Akshay Kumar to their major who gives a badge of iraq police and said him to paste it on his Car so that no one can stop him in War and says him join with iraq rather than Kuwait.
He then leads to save 1, 70, 000 people's from their but faced many problems as Indian babu's not helping and considered this as a major issue but a character named Kohli helped him in major task related to government.
At last Air India privides 400-500 flights from Amman to New delhi and saves all.

The Airlift movie song prepared by Amaal Malik and Ankit tiwari and sung by Arijit Singh, Tulsi Kumar, K.K. one song which is Soch Na Sake got already touch hearts of millions youngsters which is adabted from Soch by Hardy Sandhu a punjabi Song but and other aong is just good but I like 2 song only One is Soch Na sake and Tu bhoola jise.
