Being akshay kumar film the expectations were too high with the movie Airlift and it didn't dissapointed me either. But is not as good as the hype created by media and social networking sites I must say. The movie is based on the true event which had occurred in 1990 in kuwait which resulted in the biggest evacuation in the history of the world wherein more than one lakh indians were safely evacuated.
Akshay kumar as usual was impressive and none can replace him as far as acting is concerned. Nimrat kaur also played her part very well. Overall a good movie which can be watched with the family. I rate it 4 out of 5
