To some extend the Aircel Telecom service is doing well, but as a customer point of view it would bring about more satisfaction and achieve better customer retention if it were to introduce a package for the STD(Aircel to Aircel) free calls. If this is introduced then the company will have some competitive advantage over others, otherwise the customers seeking for this opportunity may shift over to other companies.
The service of the company has been extended to several states of India, hence there may be some customers who may have many friends and relatives across other states. Though the company has introduced the powercut of Rs. 97.00/ yet this policy does not give enough customer satisfaction in comparison to the facilities offered to the customers by other telecommunication services. Customers are exposed to several opportunities, facilities and attractions of other telecommunication services.
At the present scenario, there is a tough competition in the telecom sector for the expansion and customer retention. In order to have an edge over others, the companies need to introduce good polilicies and increase awareness.
Probably, there may not be too many customers for this offer but if this is done then many customers will be retained, and at the same time some more new customers will be brought into the fold. In order to achieve something which was never achieved before, then certain extra things need to be done which was never done before, this is one of the new fundamental for new ventures and achievements.
Further more, if the company really wants to retain its customers and expand to other geographic regions and segments then it really has to introduce some policies which truely creates customer delights, where customers and company both receive benefits.
