Time to disconnect Aircel from my life!

Aircel internet keeps freezing every now and then and every time I have to disconnect and then connect again. This happens sometimes during continuous data transfer for example while downloading and sometimes because of inactivity. Often it times out after just 20-30 seconds of inactivity. Sometimes even 5-10 seconds! Their internet service always has some or the other problem.

Going by earlier experience, I'm not going to waste time calling up customer care. They'll tell me to clear cache and temp files etc, I’ll tell them that I cleared everything before calling them, then they’ll tell me to do that once more! So I'm going to cut and throw the simcard.

Now what options do I have? I have used Airtel before. So that's not an option at all - out of the question! There are too many bad reviews of Reliance. So that's also out. Vodafone has some weird package for connecting prepaid phone to computer. So again out.

So Aircel, Airtel, Reliance, Vodafone are out. That leaves me the choice of Tata Docomo and Idea. I'm going to try one and if that too turns out to be problematic, then again I'll have to take a new number from a new company! because MNP is a hassle. It's better to take a new number and inform family and friends on facebook.

There are so many companies but the kind of service they provide, it'll be better for customers if there were many more. That way we can keep buying and throwing simcards endlessly because I don't think service will improve.
