I really had no problem with them at all. I used to love flying with them, but now everytime I fly their service, quality and the professionalism is getting worse everytime.
My first time flying with them was really good. Nothing to complaint, actually exceeded my expectations.
My second time, I choose them based on my first experience with them. It was a domestic route within india but the departure was from the international terminal. I literally had to go through the entire international security and immigration just for just over an hours flight. And it was a red eye flight and generally in india all the international departure is late night/early morning and my departure was around 4am. Imagine beating around that crowd! I wish that the airline had done the entire departure simpler, since it was a domestic flight.
My third time, paid a premium thinking bad experience will happen with everyone taught of giving them a try. It was a long haul flight but to my surprise the entertainment systems in the entire flight wasn't working. Got served my breakfast. Bad! Dry muffins, room temperature juice and bland tiny sandwich. The flight itself was making so much noise. I was actually waiting to land holding on to my seat firmly.
My last and the 4th time. Delayed for 4 hours. No notification until we finished the check in. That's really bad. I had a forward connection and I had to loose it. After security there was literally no AI staff in Goa airport. Can't leave the security area. Their phone went unanswered, I was literally tracking the flight in google and flight radar. But finally the flight arrived. The worst cabin crew, so uninterested to receive passengers. Again during take off the lights started flickering and that was scary. 30 minutes of the flight, we loose altitude. Not once but thrice. And the turbulence and no information about it! That's just compromising with the safety. There was literally no announcement throughout the flight, it was basically like sitting in a tin can holding on to your life without any idea.
So dear air india, I just can't depend upon the uncertainty you give always. If you can't deliver what you promise and when spoken just turning us to go through your terms and condition is no good. At least have a courtesy to make up for the mistake once done. I would avoid you at all cost if I have other option.
