As a software engineer, I have travelled to UK thrice and out of that 2 times with Air India.
My overall experience was kind of average...nothing special to note and nothing too bad to complain. Pl. note, I am talking of economy class.
Flight Attendants - This is bad. First of all, all the air hostess's were 40+ and kind of typical aunties.
They served quite well but again there was no enthusisam in it. Technically, service they offered was perfect but you can clearly sense their minds saying 'aahh..now he wants tomato juice again' or 'why dont he finish his lunch quickly' etc...
I even saw one of them being little rude with an old man who demanded water to take his medicines. She quipped "Pehle jo pani diya tha woh kidhar gaya ?'
That poor old man showed the empty bottle to her ....
Seating space - No comments here as it seems all same in economy class everywhere.
Food - Good. But sometimes it is all very sweety sweety....
Overall, OK flight if you are not fascinated by blue eyed air hostesses of airlines like AlItalia (yes they are beautiful - even for economy class !!) and needs some good food.
