I have flown a few airlines in India before coming out of it.
Indian Airlines is the biggest airline in India and has connecting flights to almost every airport in India.
The best part of Indian Airlines I feel is the food they serve. Easily among the best of dishes are served on Indian Airlines. Earlier they used to serve wines on flight but due to some problem that occured after the Damania incident, band kardiya hai.
Airhostesses on Indian Airlines are usually rude when compared to airhostesses from Jet or Sahara. I used to have a lot of problem when demanding facilities on IA flights.
Indian Airlines also flies flights to Dubai, Singapore and other places. And also has many connecting flights to those connected by Air India.
The seats in Indian airlines are better than those in the private airlines.
But what IA lacks is the professionalism that many private airlines have. If they can be owned privately by the Tatas then IA can regain their past glory
It is still the national airline of India.
