NO, its not because I am an employee that I rate it so high. iv been with this company since 1996 when it first started.the first batches.we were(and still are)step children of indian airlines.as consumers/customers I agree that the intricacies of the work condition dont matter to you but the truthis that inspite of being the poorest paid staff(amongst ALL the airlines)flying aircrafts in their poorest condition, wearing hand down uniforms, substandard food/material/etc, lackadaisical attitude of technical staff because you are younger, newer and a subsidary.still we fly with a smile and give our best(more so because we are given false hope of a merger)EVERYBODYneeds their jobs(including you, i bet!)
giving a bad review is easy when you information is little.**THESE are not reasons to perform poorly in this competitive industry NO DOUBT.
but people, so willingly, spending time to bring up the topic of poor performance might consider getting to the root of the and help clean up the dirt(also might help getting us our jobs confirmed and less dicey)and instead of bringing to the notice of the public, our drawbacks only, they could help them view the real picture.espicially the exploitation of crew, ground staff, how people on deputation from IC exploit their position here and of the people working under them.
most of the staff here joined when the company started.they have stuck through thick n thin who doesnt want a secure job.there have been NO promotions for 12 years, no incriments.most of us are now overage to be able to start afresh anywhere else and some have a lot of liabilities/troublesome husbands/deserted motherswithchildren/divorceees/loans/poor positions in the company/etc etc
the sob story could go on but
we need help people
we have struggled hard and fought for our rights but they have us right where they want us**.
forward this
