I booked 4 tickets for my daughter and family to travel Coimbatore - Hyderabad on July 16. However the trip had to be canceled. I informed Air Deccan of this on June 27. I was given a cancellation reference number 174015 and was promised that the refund will be credited to my credit card account in 2 weeks time. It is now almost 7 weeks and there is no sign of the money. When I contacted the local office at Coimbatore I was given a Bangalore number and was told that all refunds are handled by the B'lore office. I have made several attempts to contact B'lore office without success. Even the travel agent who did the booking for me at Coimbatore has not been able to get through to teh Bangalore office.
I sent an email on August 9 to which I got a response dated August 10 that the matter was being looked into by Bangalore. I again sent an email today since there was no attempt to settle the issue during the past week. I have got a feedback which is a repetition of the response sent to me on the 10th. This appears to be a auto response as there is no change in the language or content of the message
I do not know what to do. Any suggestions?
