Dont Think of Travelling by aircosta. They dont maintain Punctuality in flight schedules. I booked a ticket on flight no LB 682 from Bengaluru to Visakhapatnam on 6th June 2015. Flight is supposed to depart at 11 hours. But flight departed at 19 hours, that is 8 hours delay. During this 8 hours period, they never informed actual reason for the delay. All the passengers waiting for this flight have to fight with those guys to get lunch around 13.30 hours.Intially they kept on telling it is minor technical problem. Finally it became obvious, as they were replacing burst front wheel of the aircraft around 1730 hours, infront of all the passengers waiting at gate no: 7C.
It seems they have to procure that tyre from Chennai, to enable departure at 19 hours. They dont seem to have regular preventive maintenance and adequate technical personnel to rectify the problems immediately. During this 8 hours wating period, they never informed actual departure time, all the passengers have to keep cursing them to know the departure time. Finally after wasting 8 hours of valuable time, all passengers boarded the flight and flight reached Visakhapatnam at 20.30 hours on that day night, instead of actual arrival at 12.35 hours in afternoon. Pathetic Service.
Please don't travel by aircosta airline, unless you don't mind wasting your valuable time.
