As a person who has bare knowledge about Indian cinematography(the only examples I had were from the very past such as Zita and Gita, for example) I had no idea what to expect from Agneepath movie.

Actually the fist thing someone from Russia should expect - is not understanding a single word and being absolutely lost in a plot. But for that I had my friends with me to explain the most difficult dialogues.

But.in the movie such dialogues were.none. It was first a question for me whether it's good or bad for the movie to be that easily understandable by people from absolutely different culture. Not any more.

The thing is that if a person understands what's going on in every scene without knowing the language - that pays a lot to actors. It means they gave so many emotions so revealed the main tragedy of the scenario.

I've been familiar with plots, containing revenge as the main line of the story. And the opinion I formed about the idea of revenge itself has a lot connections with the movie. When I watched the previews it seemed not that obvious what side of revenge and in which light the author wants to present it. Because it's a topic that has always been questioned. We all know revenge is something out of logical thinking. And as civilized people we're trying to stand for not taking revenges. But as a matter of fact, when one gets at the spot of taking revenge - it's a point of no return. One won't find peace before it will be executed. However as soon as it will be - his expected peace appears to be just emptiness. And this all not considering the fact that on the way to revenge you sacrifice everything and everyone around, so by the time you're about to execute it - you have nothing else to loose, more reasons for revenge and the only possible catharsis - death.

Considering all mentioned above the way the story will be developing in a movie and the final scenes seemed to be crucial for me.

So the plot completely covered my "revenge issue" expectations. It shows all the sides of the problem of not actually having a choice when you do have it.

But the deep and smart plot - is not the only thing that makes a movie.

And that's where Hrithik's performance comes on the stage. He was really good with lost, desperate character who has only one aim and only one way to choose, only one path in life - path of truth, revenge, suffer and revelation - Agneepath.

I should say he was not the only one who's acting was nice - Rishi Kapoor also impressed me a lot as well as Sanjay Dutt created a complete difficult characters in a movie.

Talking about the females - I should mention Katrina Kaif as a wonderful dancing actress though have nothing to say about acting as it is - she appeared only in one scene, though a main dancing scene of the movie. Priyanka Chopra was a complete disappointment- though a very beautiful actress, but her dancing skills as well as ability to do anything except staring with her big eyes really suffer.

Other important thing to be mentioned - music.

That was a complete new experience for me, considering cultural peculiarities.

Impressive. Sometimes too epic. And sometimes so not appropriate for few scenes. Though I loved the sounding, but was really confused to hear a romantic kind of melody - that is perfect for proposals, St.Valentine's Day and scenes "i will love you till I die'- in a scene of fight at the moment when Vijay's mother reveals her daughter the truth about Vijay being her brother.

Though overall for music - good.

As well as overall for the movie.

A wonderful cultural experience for me.
