Be careful: These people are buying 5 star rating since a month in association with Mouthshut. For the year 2019 at least 75% people gave 1 star still their recommendation is 98% and rating is 4 star.
It was 5th time when I relocated to another city and because of valuable items thought of going with a reputed Packers & Movers. So along with another colleague we decided to go with Agrawal Packeres & Movers.
For moving 99 items I paid Rs97141/- & got a bill of Rs94057/- as transaction charges were not part of the bill. I thought that is fine at least items should reach safe.
To my surprise the transportation and handling was so bad that most of the items are are damaged or scratched. 34 items out of 99 need either replacement or repair and three are missing. Almost all the cartoon boxes had no wraps and few items in side the boxes were opened(may be in search of gold/silver ornaments). They kept the items in the open for 15 days. Without wrapper or damaged wrapper, the items were exposed to rain and rats.
When the items were delivered in our new house(along with rats) we had to leave the items in open for the bad smell to go. There was fungous in sofa and many other items.
There is no response from from none of the contacts on the missing items or damaged items. It's almost a week no one came for inspection & I don't think they will ever come. So the only option left with me is to file FIR.
